Toronto\u0027s interim mayor is calling foul over the lack of support for the city from the federal government in the Tuesday\u0027s budget.

Toronto councillor and city budget chief Gary Crawford told the National Post he was disappointed over Tuesday’s federal budget.

Looking to next year, Crawford said there are responsibilities on both levels of government to help fund city programs, and plans are in the works to negotiate a new fiscal deal between the city, the province and Ottawa. “Without meaningful action to address and reduce the $46.5 billion pressure, the future of Toronto as a great place to live, visit, and do business could be at risk.”
