The project calls for the construction of two towers with a public space, a dedicated space for OCAD and a free art gallery. The west tower will be 84 storeys.Article content Gehry said Forma’s east tower was designed to capture the essence of Toronto. He took inspiration from some of the buildings that were important to him while growing up, including Old City Hall, and the Royal York Hotel..“It’s very special,” said Gehry. “It’s rare to build two buildings and create a public space that’s vertical, which is what this will be, and the centrepiece is none other than Mirvish Way.
