Uncharted, which hit theaters back in February, will premiere on Netflix on July 15.
The Netflix release date for Tom Holland's action-adventure adaptation Uncharted has been revealed. The movie, which is adapted from the hit Uncharted video game series, was first released in theaters in February of this year, following years of development hell and postponements due to COVID-19.

So it seems the streaming giants are trying to attract more of an audience by adding movies they believe will bring in subscribers.
