It is not immediately clear whether the plane’s name is Tom Cruise, like your uncle’s boat might be named “Seas the Day” or something, or if it is simply labeled with its owner’s name, like a hoodie at band camp, so it doesn’t get mixed up with all the other fighter jets in the class. Maybe he and the jet just happen to have the same name! Weird coincidence, but it happens!
