If someone comes at your door with a police-style battering ram, there’s not a lot you can do to keep them out. Beyond that, traditional locks can be picked; smart locks [without keyways] can’t. That in itself makes smart locks safer,” says Rob Gabriele, home security expert at SafeHome.org, a provider of home security products.
