Environment Canada has issued a winter storm watch for Toronto this week.
It might have felt like spring over the weekend, but the winter weather hasn’t gone away just yet.On Tuesday, just after 7 a.m., the agency issued a
that predicted the city could see snow, ice pellets and freezing rain late Wednesday into Thursday. Warnings may be issued as the event draws nearer, Environment Canada says.“Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery.” Environment Canada said that at this time, it can’t predict how much precipitation will fall, and whether it will be rain, snow or ice.
Tuesday is expected to hit 4 C with a chance of rain showers or flurries. Temperatures will drop to 0 C in the daytime on Wednesday and fall to -2 C on Thursday
