Since early August, Earle’s alleged old comments from social media platform ASKfm, where the TikToker repeatedly uses the n-word, have been making the rounds on Reddit. On August 26, after weeks of online chatter, the TikTok star took to Instagram stories to post a formal apology. “A couple of weeks ago, screenshots surfaced from my old ask.
My platform has always focused on positivity, entertainment, and uplifting others, and will continue to do so. I am sincerely sorry to those I have offended.” In the rest of the message, Earle says she “regrets” how she’s handled the situation and admits she’s allowed “too many people to talk me out of saying something for too long.” She added: “I wasn’t sure how to handle it and unfortunately the advice I was given, although well intended, was wrong.
