TikTok is introducing a 60-minute screen time limit which will automatically apply to all accounts owned by under-18s.
TikTok is introducing a new feature that limits the amount of time that under-18s are able to spend on the app.
TikTok Head of Trust and Safety, Cormac Keenan, wrote: "In the coming weeks, every account belonging to a user below age 18 will automatically be set to a 60-minute daily screen time limit." Users will also be able to opt out of the upcoming change, however those who opt out and exceed 100 minutes of screen time a day will be sent a prompt by TikTok to set their own screen time controls.
