TikTok is accused of violating state consumer-protection laws by misrepresenting that its video-sharing platform it is appropriate for users 12 and up, in one of the lawsuits filed by the state Indiana.Indiana filed a pair of lawsuits against TikTok Wednesday, alleging the platform is deceiving consumers about itsand should be prohibited from allowing children to access adult content, including about sex, profanity and drugs.
