It’s National Cinema Day, a new idea that could become annual.
For one day, movie tickets will be just $3 in the vast majority of American theaters as part of a newly launched “National Cinema Day” to lure moviegoers during a quiet spell at the box office.
More than 30 chains and movie houses in Dallas-Fort Worth are participating in the inaugural event including AMC, Regal, Studio Movie Grill, Alamo Drafthouse, Cinemark, the Texas Theater, Flix Brewhouse and more. You’ll find a list of participating cinemas atIn participating theaters, tickets will be no more than $3 for every showing, in every format. The $3 deal does not include any tax or online ticket fee.
