The Thunder Bay man bought a $10 Bigger Spin ticket, which led to him taking a trip to the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to spin the wheel.

“The wheel was much lighter than I imagined. I gave it all I got, and the wheel was good to me,” he said in a news release issued by OLG. “I felt frozen as I watched the wheel spin and was tingling when I saw it land on $800,000. It must have been my wallet excited for the money."Bordun said he plans on using his winnings to do some home renovations and share with his family and friends. He's also looking to support his Ukrainian heritage.

“I would like to support the Ukrainians who have been deployed by the war. I will take some time to figure out the best way to do that,” he said.
