A forgotten cache of photos has appeared online showing a bustling Glasgow city centre as it was more than 40 years ago.
Having cleaned up and scanned the slides, William posted his dad's Glasgow photos on the Lost Glasgow Facebook group on Tuesday evening, where they have proved to be a big hit, attracting hundreds of likes. However, he says the photos also serve as a reminder of how Glasgow's major thoroughfares have declined in the past few decades.
