Three Cumbria restaurants given Michelin stars for the first time in 2023 guide update
Three restaurants in Cumbria have received Michelin stars for the first time in the 2023 Michelin Guide.
Just three restaurants in Cumbria received a star for the first time. They are Pentonbridge Inn, near Carlisle; The Samling at Ambleside; and Heft at High Newton, near Cartmel. L'Enclume at Cartmel also retained its highly regarded three stars during the lavish ceremony.Pentonbridge Inn, near Carlisle In a statement on their website, the team at Pentonbridge Inn said: "We are overwhelmed to be awarded one Michelin star.
The Samling, Ambleside The Samling provides fine dining against an expansive lake view at The Samling Hotel.
