The Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office uncovered a theft ring this week that led to the discovery of thousands of undelivered Amazon packages.
Cesar Yasnier Cerqueira Rojas, an illegal immigrant from Cuba, was working as a third-party driver for Amazon, deputies said. They suspect Rojas of loading extra pallets onto the truck, bringing them to the home and opening them.
Maikel Perez Laurencio, a 38-year-old illegal immigrant, was also arrested. Authorities said Laurencio was also a third-party driver.
