The owner evidently spent six figures for the conversion and ended up with a fancy truck bed and a coffee table book to go with it
Continental Flying Spur is a really special car but for at least one owner, it wasn’t special enough. They reportedly dropped over six figures converting this one to their very own one-of-a-kind ute. Now, the whole finished car can be yours for not much more than they paid for the conversion alone.. It still features its original engine, a 6.0-liter W12 that makes a factory-rated 560 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque. When it was new it would’ve retailed for around $165,000 in the USA.
According to the ad over on PistonHeads, the seller spent £120,000 or so getting the conversion from sedan to ute completed. Let’s take a look at some of the things that it’s kept and some of the things that are completely unique to this one-off example. The front cabin looks completely unchanged from original. It still features enough wood to fill a forest and what looks like at least one full cow worth of leather. The seats have suede inserts and the word Decadence stitched into them.
