Four years after its introduction, the G20 BMW 3-Series is getting a mid-cycle facelift with some mild changes
, a bunch of photos appeared online thanks to the usual suspect – the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The photos depict both the regular and the extended wheelbase body styles of the China-spec 3-Series, revealing an updated design that will most likely be carried over to the international model sold everywhere else, including North America, Australia, and Europe.
. However, the bumper of the ICE-powered 3-Series is different from the EV, featuring a larger central intake and thinner L-shaped side intakes with black trim. The grille is also different with either vertical slits or horizontal elements highlighted in chrome.The profile remains largely unchanged, with the exception of the new wheel designs and new color options. The side sills are another point of differentiation with the electric i3 which features extra inlets behind the front wheels.
