If you're dealing with hyperhidrosis today, there are more treatment option than there were in my teen years. "Topical medications such as Drysol that stop sweating are easy to use but can be irritating," says Dr. Gohara. "Oral medications such as Rubinol are also easy to use, but constipate you and make you feel too dried out all over." Dr. Gohara says that Botox is one of the most successful treatments. "It is reliably beneficial," she says.
