Using a laptop stand is a"good alternative.

These tips are meant to lessen the strain on your back if you have to work from bed, but as a general rule, a sturdier seat is always better."A sturdy chair that's not too cushiony — that would be a good option for longterm support for the spine," Dr. Shah says. And no matter what sitting position you choose, if you work at a sedentary job, make sure to take breaks to stand up,
