“I just had a sense about it,” says vintage obsessive Chloe Kernaghan, who added classic Manolos and flowers in her hair.
At that point Chloe, whose partner, investor Ian Harris, popped the question on the Costa Brava at the end of last summer, hadn’t tried on a single dress. “I hadn’t even been to any bridal shops or anything like that,” she says. “But the Azzaro dress was cool, it was special, it was something I hadn’t ever seen before, plus the puff sleeves felt relevant for right now.” Once she took delivery of the gown, Chloe set up the self-timer on her iPhone for a fitting session at home.
It fit like a glove – everything hugged in all the right places. It felt serendipitous and perfect.”Though the bride’s mother and sister were a touch disappointed to learn Chloe had found her wedding dress without the traditional group outing to a bridal boutique, the family made up for it with a visit to vintage havenin LA, where she picked out a white Escada suit to wear for her wedding reception.
