This app help you keep your identity protected
This is an app from the minds at Carnegie Mellon to help you keep your identity protected. This app will arm you with information about data certain things are collecting about you. That means everything from your smart speakers to facial recognition cameras. You can find out who is collecting that data and who gets to see it and how long they get to keep it on their files.
You can then get into the resources to make changes to your privacy wishes. The app shows you what kinds of sources are around your location. You might see a sign that says,"This area under camera surveillance." You can also help the app discover more resources that are around you. Maybe there are doorbell cameras, for example. IoT Assistant is a free app on iTunes and Android.
