A thief robbed a victim at gunpoint late Thursday in Midtown — just a block away from the iconic Plaza Hotel, authorities said.
The suspect pulled a gun on a pedestrian at East 57th Street and Fifth Avenue – an intersection that is home to Trump Tower and various luxury stores, including Louis Vuitton and Chanel – around 11:50 p.m. and snatched the victim’s wallet, police said. The victim did not report any injuries, cops said. Cops did not have any information on the person’s age or gender.
