We took to the streets of Glasgow to find out the public's reaction to ongoing industrial action
Hundreds of teachers gathered at picket lines around the city today and Glaswegians seem to be backing them all the way.
Teachers, who have rejected the current 5 percent pay offer, began striking today and will continue tomorrow, with secondary school staff expected to follow suit tomorrow.We took to the streets of Glasgow to find out the public's reaction to the ongoing action. "It's a hard job, and they want people to go into education and how are you going to do that like this?Jed Lennox, 28, from Bishopbriggs, said:"I'm genuinely quite positive towards the strikes.
"I understand that it is also tough for the government, but they should get their proposed pay rises. I don't think it's an unfair request."Angela MacManus, 56, Carntyne, added:"When the bin men went on strike it was a deadset that everyone else was going to go on strike.
