These are the 2020 presidential candidates getting the most financial support from the female electorate:

More than one million women have donated a total of $131 million to the 2020 presidential election as of September 30. And according to a new study from the Center for Responsive Politics, these dollars are concentrated towards the female candidates for president: Marianne Williamson, Senator Kamala Harris, Senator Elizabeth Warren and Senator Amy Klobuchar account for four of the top five most popular recipients of voter dollars.

With $31.02 million and $29.09 respectively, Warren and Harris were the only women to break into the top five in terms of the dollar amounts given by both female and male voters. That women are opening their wallets this much is important because the donations do more than help buy political ads.

While Williamson leads in terms of sheer number of female donations, the Center for Responsive Politics found that Senator Bernie Sanders has raised the most money from women: with $17.1 million. The other top Democratic candidates with the largest donations from women are Warren and Mayor Pete Buttigieg, who have raised $15.84 million and $15.48 million from women. Not far behind is Harris who has received $15.37 million. Notably, Harris and Warren both get more donations from women than men.
