Good question. My plan hadn't gone farther than fixing the poles for my tent, waterproofing it, and walking out to some of the homeless camps I've visited through the years to see if there were any takers. I also know there are two general categories of tent owners. There are the committed campers, who like me probably have a habit of upgrading and amassing gear. And there are the folks who gave tent camping a try and realized after a few trips — usually one involving rain — that it was not their bag.
