There are no Upshaw upsets in the returning cast for part 4.
The Upshaws cast has turned what could have been just another sitcom into one of Netflix's most popular comedy shows. Created by Regina Y. Hicks and Wanda Sykes, The Upshaws tells the story of an unconventional family. Mike Epps and Kim Fields are Bennie and Regina Upshaw, a married couple who have three kids of their own and one other who is Bennie's son from another woman.
Kim Fields as Regina Upshaw Kim Fields's The Upshaws Part 4 character is Regina Upshaw. Regina is the mother of the Upshaw family and Bennie's wife. In the last season of The Upshaws, she quit her job and began experiencing depression, which will play a large role in The Upshaws Part 4. Fields is an actor from New York City who got her start in television commercials as well as in guest roles as a child on Good Times.
Diamond Lyons as Kelvin Upshaw Diamond Lyons plays Kelvin Upshaw in The Upshaws Part 4 cast. Kevin is Bennie's son with Tasha Lewis, who was born when he was on "a break" from Regina. He has a rough relationship with his mom and asked to move in with his dad last season. Lyons was born in Galveston, Texas, and has limited on-screen experience as a teenage actor. His only other credits include a role in the TV series 5th Ward and the TV miniseries Colin in Black & White.
Jermelle Simon as Bernard Upshaw Jr. Jermelle Simon plays Bernard Upshaw Jr. in The Upshaws Part 4 cast. Bernard is Regina and Bennie's oldest son, although he and his dad had a rough relationship since Bennie was out of his life until he was 16. Simon is an actor from Florence, South Carolina, who trained to become an actor before moving to Hollywood and picking up roles in theater productions to kickstart his career.
