Look at the work of an Etsy success story like Yokoo Gibraan, who sells complex hand-knit scarves and hats, some of which cost as much as $200. While that price tag may make you wince, it buys a 10-foot long, handmade piece of fiber art and pays Gibraan fairly for the hours she put in.
