Director David Fincher teases that talks have taken place with screenwriter Aaron Sorkin about making The Social Network 2, a sequel to his 2010 hit.
The Social Network 2 talks are teased by David Fincher, 13 years after the first film. Released in 2010, Fincher's drama about Mark Zuckerberg and the rise of Facebook remains one of his most critically-acclaimed films. While The Social Network ending sees Zuckerberg having alienated most of the people close to him to achieve success, wrapping up the story with a poignant final scene, the story of Facebook has continued.
