“We get calls from organizations that maybe students need a sleeping bag, maybe they need a pillowcase, maybe they need school clothes,” Minor said.In 2016, he was sentenced to death for killing Shirellda Terry, Angela Deskins, 38, and Shetisha Sheeley, 28. On Wednesday, the Ohio Supreme Court announced his execution will not happen “until the exhaustion of all state post-conviction proceedings, including any appeals.”Madison was scheduled to be executed in May.
“I forgave him so that I didn’t have to be handcuffed with him in prison,” Minor said. “I refuse to allow my daughter’s legacy to be even handcuffed with him as he continues with the appeals process.”“I want to hear her name ring out there, loving other students just as she loved them with her arms and hugs,” Minor said.

Burglary and Vehicle Theft at Terry Thompson Chevrolet in DaphneDaphne Police report that during the early morning hours of Saturday 03/09/2024, Terry Thompson Chevrolet was burglarized and four dealership-owned vehicles were stolen from the parking lot. The suspects forced entry into the building through a window in the service department and were able to obtain key fobs to several vehicles. Surveillance footage in the area showed that four masked suspects, wearing dark clothing, were dropped off in the area by a dark four-door sedan at approximately 0200. On-board GPS on one of the trucks showed the vehicle traveling North on I-65 northbound near the 12-mile marker in Prichard, AL shortly after the theft occurred. No additional information was available, and it is believed the suspects were able to disable the GPS systems.
