As audiences continue to celebrate the film's development The Sandman's Constantine actor Jenna Coleman shares her reaction to Keanu Reeves' Constantine 2. Coleman starred in Netflix's adaptation of Neil Gaiman's beloved comic book series as Johanna Constantine, a female version of the British occult detective who assists Tom Sturridge's Morpheus in reacquiring his totems of power.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY Before Coleman returns, however, audiences can look forward to Keanu Reeves returning for Constantine 2, a sequel the actor has long desired to make that was recently confirmed to be in development with original director Francis Lawrence also returning. Warner Bros.' shift towards the new film ultimately resulted in the cancelation of the HBO Max reboot with His House's Sope Dirisu having been in talks to star.

Even if Coleman doesn't return for a Sandman spinoff, Constantine's future on screen at least has Keanu Reeves' Constantine 2 to look forward to. Despite receiving mixed reviews at the time of its release, the original Constantine movie has garnered a cult following in the years since and Reeves has frequently discussed his hopes to play the character again, even sharing he had tried and failed to sell WB on it over the years.
