The outlook for a quick recovery from coronavirus is still gloomy. However, this is somewhat mitigated by the generosity of some retailers and suppliers. Whether it is money that they have given, masks that they have produced, or protective wear that they have manufactured, they all have made their resources available to fight an invisible enemy.
I am proud to list some of the combatants working to counter the COVID-19 pandemic. I have organized these contributors into two lists, tracking financial contributions and donations of critical medical supplies such as face masks, personal protective equipment and ventilators. I’m also listing the countries and organizations that have donated to the World Health Organization. Whatever the amount contributed, every effort, every penny counts as the world fights this invisible, but deadly evil.
WHO is leading and coordinating the global effort to combat, prevent, detect and respond to the pandemic. The COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund has the responsibility to coordinate the fight against the coronavirus.
