The Queen's Gambit Chess has players playing the classic board in game in all sorts of places inspired by the Netflix show.
was going to be a chess game, given the subject matter. However, Netflix released a longer trailer about the digital board game to give players a better look at what the license brings to the table.
The latest trailer for the board game isn’t the most detailed breakdown, but does show a number of different locations and styles that all add their own flavor to chess. Some duels take place on fancy boards, while others are more abstract and are played on a chalkboard or a checkerboard with 2D pieces. It also once again heavily implies that players won’t actually play as Beth Harmon, but just be in her world.
