Maybe these new AirPodsPro will last a full year before being replaced. Or even three months would be nice.
There’s one thing about the new Apple AirPods Pro that no review can answer. Not our AirPods 2 review. Not anyone else’s. And, to me, it’s that one unanswered question that matters more than any improved spec.
But here’s the thing: I was late to the AirPods Pro game. I didn’t buy my first pair until Black Friday 2021. That’s at the end of November, for those who somehow manage to avoid such madness. So, in just under four months, I was on my second pair of AirPods Pro. Shoutout, by the way, to the continued Apple Store experience, which really can’t be beat.
It seems another trip to the Apple Store is in my future. That’s actually easier said than done, given that my closest store is in Metairie, north of New Orleans, some three hours away. On the other hand, I’ve hit NOLA with flimsier excuses.
