David Koechner, known for his role in 'The Office', is set to perform comedy shows in Plano. In an interview, he discusses his stand-up set and what audiences can expect from the night of dynamic entertainment.

What can audiences expect from your stand-up set?A night of dynamic entertainment. It’s interesting because, how do you sell your show? Here’s what it is. And I don’t want to overstate it. [Fellow comedian] Rob Maher and I have been doing this for five years. He does half an hour and I do an hour. We work very well together, we have different styles, but it’s a rock-solid show.Well, it’s hosted by Todd Packer, but I don’t punish the audience the entire time. That would be a little much.

I’ve been doing stand-up all year. I’ve done some TV shows here and there. But, you know, things really started slowing down in May, in anticipation of all of this. They were looking toward the future and not going to spend money on pre-production, that’s my guess. So that’s where we are and I’m glad — thank God — for live shows. I’m a member of [SAG-AFTRA] and the writer’s guild, but I’m out of town quite a bit, so I will go down and walk the picket lines when I get the chance.
