The Hurry-Up: Ohio State legacy and 2025 DB Trey McNutt was thrilled to pick up an Ohio State offer and four-star 2024 OT Brandon Baker locks in an official visit with OSU.
“It was surprising actually,” McNutt said of his offer. “We were sitting in the office talking, and I didn’t think he’d offer me yet. It was exciting for both my Mom and me. He said we’re not going to sit here and let all these other schools recruit you. After that he extended me the offer.”
“It was really cool,” McNutt said of getting an offer to the same school his father played at. “Walking around I got to see some pictures on the wall with him and Mike Doss, my uncle, in them. That was pretty cool.” “He was really excited, he got juiced up on the phone when I called him,” McNutt said of calling his dad. “He was really excited.”
