Gary Bettman is confident the NHL will find the right fit to be the next owner of the Ottawa Senators.
“That’s something we haven’t done yet and it would be premature to do it. There’s still two-to-three months of work to be done. So, everybody take a deep breath, sit back, we’ll get through this process and we’re going to come out of it on the other side with a really good, strong new owner.”
“The good news is we have a number of substantial owners’ groups who are interested in a meaningful way of owning this team and owning it here .” Representatives of the Markham-based Remington Group, which includes Vancouver-born actor Ryan Reynolds and is led by Christopher Bratty, along with Windsor businessman Rocco Tullio, owner of the Ontario Hockey League’s Oshawa Generals, are expected to be among the visitors.Article content
