The latest planning application shows the centre would look to operate the new community building from Monday to Friday between 8am and 10pm, and on Saturday and Sunday including bank holidays from 9am to 10pm.Chief executive of the Foxton Centre, Jeff Marsh, told Blog Preston: “In considering our options for the longer term it was clear to everyone that there needed to be considerable investment in the facilities.
“The trustees felt that there was an opportunity to build a modern premises which is both environmentally friendly and energy efficient which would be a long-term asset to the community in Avenham and Frenchwood hopefully for the next 50 years. The facility currently has four employees, the new development would bring seven full-time employees and four part-time employees bringing the total to 12.
