Developers of Allen's 135-acre Farm mixed-use development are ready to start offices and more entertainment venues.

Along with the apartments and entertainment projects, JaRyCo plans to start construction soon on a 100,000-square-foot office building on the south side of S.H. 121.“About a year and a half ago, we were supposed to start our office building and I said there’s no way,” Heller said. “Instead, we pivoted to get more amenities here. We are ready now and got our office building financed and we will start construction this month.
“We can wait and get the type and quality we want,” Heller said. “The Johnson family wants to do something special to provide to the community.” The street front along the east side of Alma Drive will be used for restaurant and retail construction.“We are in discussions with a number of unique operators,” Heller said. “I could have filled it up by now but I’m being pretty picky.”“I’m not interested in the typical boutique stuff,” he said. “We are going to have what I call everyday retail — the specialty grocer, the drug store, the dry cleaner, the haircut place. That’s serving the people who live here and office here.
