He was searched by officers who found the blade
Craig McCulloch, 31, was driving on Beech Road in Bishopbriggs when officers had reason to stop him on the night of August 27, 2021.
At Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday, procurator fiscal depute Laura Martin said: “The police had further reason to search the accused.“A small folding knife was found in the back pocket of his shorts. He was arrested, cautioned, and charged and made no reply.”Sheriff Diana McConnell said: “I think supervision would be beneficial in this case. Can he do unpaid work?”Sheriff McConnell told McCulloch: “The court takes this sort of offence very seriously.
