The Chicks sign on for new management

The trio has subsequently released “Julianna Calm Down” and today posted “March March” on their Instagram, which had been rebranded The Chicks.

The Chicks gave no explanation for the name change other than saying “We want to meet this moment” on their website. The video for the song, which was originally inspired by the March for Our Lives movement, includes footage from Pride marches and recent Black Lives Matter marches following George Floyd's death by police. in changing from their original name, which held connotations of a pre-Civil War South that embraced slavery.
