At the rate BTS are collecting champions on the Hot 100, they might match The Rolling Stones soon.

The Bee Gees land in third place on the ranking of the bands that have made it to the Hot 100’s peak most often, as they scored nine winners during their time together. Just one smash behind them come The Rolling Stones, with eight.

BTS have accrued their six Hot 100 No. 1s in near-record speed, as they only reached the penthouse for the first time at the end of last summer. The band’s “Dynamite” debuted in first place as summer 2020 ended, and it marked what would turn out to be an incredible winning streak. Before the year concluded, the septet returned to the throne with their own “Life Goes On” and as a featured act on Jason Derulo and Jawsh 685’s"Savage Love .

Before this week, BTS were tied with four other groups with five Hot 100 leaders apiece, but now they’re no longer on the same level as Boyz II Men, The Eagles, KC and the Sunshine Band and The Four Seasons.
