Despite the small bump in power, you do get a huge benefit in fuel economy. All of the hybrid trims of the CR-V get 43/36/40 mpg in 2WD and 40/34/37 mpg in the AWD. You also get an additional driving mode over the non-hybrids.

It's also one of two trims that gets a powered tailgate .
