THUNDER BAY — With a long weekend ahead, many will still be needing support when it comes to providing food for their families and themselves.
On Sunday, from noon to 2 p.m., the Salvation Army will be hosting a turkey dinner courtesy of the Thunder Bay Professional Fire Fighters Association, which will be serving the meals. Iron Range Bus Lines will be offering a shuttle service to bring people to the centre, with pickup locations at both the City Hall and Water St. terminals. The service starts at 11:45 a.m. at City Hall.
The Regional Food Distribution Association will be cooking and providing 300 meals, with the Dew Drop Inn making another 300-plus meals.
