When she got into her car and attempted to leave the gym’s parking lot, Chummar exited his truck and attempted to open her driver’s side door, pulling on the handle, according to police reports.
Frantically seeking help, the victim called 911 and began honking her horn, all while yelling for help, WXPI and TribLive said. When authorities arrived, she told them she recognized Chummar from his Instagram profile picture and had blocked him because he had been harassing her, her family, and her friends for the past year. She also showed the police multiple harassing messages he sent her.
Chummar told authorities he wanted to talk to the social media influencer about her being involved in a sex trafficking ring, despite there being no evidence to support those claims, police said. Chummar is being charged with stalking, false imprisonment, and harassment. He is being held in the Allegheny County Jail on $10,000 bail with a preliminary hearing set for May 25, according to reports.
