. We seek candidates who are using innovative approaches to address important and challenging biomedical problems at the molecular level. Candidates are expected to develop a strong research program and participate in the education of graduate students and postdoctoral scientists. Our investigators have diverse research interests. Growing areas of strength include RNA and DNA metabolism, chromatin biology, signal transduction, protein misfolding diseases, and molecular cancer biology.
The successful candidates will join a vibrant, growing, and diverse research community. The Biochemistry department has exceptional faculty who have received major international awards, including election to the National Academy of Sciences and a Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine . Incoming faculty will have a supportive peer group and receive extensive mentoring.
