September 15, 2023 at 9:36 a.m. EDTA 48-year-old man shot on Sept. 2 has died of his injuries, Prince George’s police said on Thursday.
Police said that on Sept. 2 at approximately 7:40 p.m., patrol officers responded to Branch Avenue and St. Barnabas Road for the report of a crash involving a motorcycle. Police said they found the victim, Brian Akinfe of Temple Hills, in the roadway unresponsive near his motorcycle and suffering from gunshot wounds.
