On March 8 and 9, both companies are set to increase roaming fees in the U.S. and internationally.
Roaming fees are set to increase for Telus and Bell customers beginning next week.
On March 8, Telus will charge customers $14 a day when roaming on their device in the U.S. , and $16 a day when roaming internationally , according to its website. In a similar move, Bell is set to bump roaming prices starting March 9. The company’s Roam Better feature for U.S. roaming will increase to $13 from $12 a day, and internationally it will increase to $16 from $15 a day, according to its website.
Telus-owned discount brand Koodo will see a similar hike as well as Bell-owned subsidiaries including Virgin Mobile.More to come
