An 18-year-old suspect that was taken into custody after a shot was fired in a Philadelphia mall.
Police told the news station that an 18-year-old suspect was taken into custody entered the crowded Fashion District mall in the Center City neighborhood around 6:30 p.m.
The bullet missed and hit a granite wall, the station said. A chunk of the wall flew off, however, and hit a shopper who only sustained a scratch. “I just heard two loud bangs and at first I was nervous. I wasn’t sure. There were security guards and such telling us to leave,” Desiree Morales, who was on the first floor of the mall at the time, told WPVI.
