The other teen was found dead hours later, about half a kilometre from where he exited the system, officials said. “My understanding was they adventured into the system and they got caught with the water water levels rising and they tried to get out but it was too late,” he said.Darling said Toronto Fire had about 40 crew members at the site searching for the missing boy. Toronto police investigator Chris McCann said the service deployed 20 to 25 officers, alongside canines, towards the search effort.
