Ted Lasso was at the White House and actually took a question from Trent Crimm.
Jason Sudeikis and his 'Ted Lasso" co-stars attended a White House daily briefing, where they fielded a question from a familiar reporter.
“No matter who you are, no matter where you live, no matter who you voted for, we all probably, I assume, we all know someone who has — or have been that someone ourselves, actually — that’s struggled, that’s felt isolated, that’s felt anxious, that’s felt alone,” Sudeikis said in a video of the briefing C-SPAN"It's actually one of the many things, believe it or not, that we all have in common as human beings," he added.
Sudeikis plays the Emmy-winning show's title character, an American football coach who struggles with anxiety after being hired to manage an English soccer team. When it came time to field questions from reporters, Sudeikis called on just one journalist in the room: Trent Crimm of the Independent.
