If you don't have a Roku, what are you even doing with your life?
Chromecast because I thought they were too expensive. I know, call me a grandma — a millennial without a media player is rarer than rare. Little did I know, there was a perfectly comparable alternative that I've been missing out on this whole time. My friend recommended the to me, and I had to blink twice when I saw the price. Within two days of ordering it, I had every streaming service I love in one place on my TV.
The setup of this device only took about 10 minutes, including adding my favorite subscriptions that I have. I included Netflix, Hulu, HBO Now, AT&T TV Now, Amazon Video, and more to my Roku home screen. Pretty much every streaming service you can think of is accessible — you just have to pay for the accounts, of course.
In case you haven't figured it out, I'm a die-hard Roku girl now. That little device has changed my downtime for the better. The picture on the Roku is so clear — that was my first reaction when I turned on a show. Everything also pops up quickly, so you're not waiting for shows and movies to upload. The little remote is very intuitive; basically, there was no adjustment period. I could navigate everything effortlessly right away.
In case you haven't figured it out, I'm a die-hard Roku girl now. That little device has changed my downtime for the better. If you're teetering on which media player to get, take my word for it and try this one. For the price and quality, you'll feel like you won the lottery.
